Just realised that I have owned my Westie for 2½ years now, and have had this website for almost as long, but have never really written about owning the car before.
I will use this part to write about the running of my car, and anything else I can think of that may be of interest!
Since I have brought the car, I have done about 13,000 miles in it, including 2 european driving holidays, and have enjoyed virtually every mile. When I brought the car, from Terry Nightingale, it was as it had left the factory, except with a 2 litre Zetec engine in place of the standard 1.8. The previous owner had also fitted a Raceline baffled sump at the same time as changing the engine. It is a 1998 factory built SpeedSport, which means it has got most of the options on it. These include Trax Spax adjustable shocks, LSD, front and rear anti-roll bars, vented nose cone, throttle bodies, quickshift and a quick rack.
Car as I had purchased it:

Since I have owned it, I have slowly been upgrading as and when I can afford it. So far, I have added:
Things that I would like to do include fitting a Raceline water rail, possibly a carbon fibre dash, some rear wheel arch protectors, and possibly some new wheels, although I think it is more likely that I will get my current ones painted black. Am also thinking of fitting a wide track front end.
Car as of September 2005:

I frequent both the WSCC Boardroom, where my name is adam1330, and also Pistonheads, where my name is .Adam. Pistonheads is where I found out about my driving holidays that I have been on, my 'EuroHoons'. Hopefully planning on going again in 2006, should be going to the South of France and Monaco.
